MUSES tutorial
This page explains the actual product flow in MUSES: where to start, which page to use next, and what each page is responsible for once you begin turning a template into a finished motion file.
Pages you will use
These are the four pages most users touch during a normal project.
Recommended order
- Start in TemplatesPick a motion structure that is already close to your goal. MUSES works best when you begin from an existing rhythm, not from an empty idea.
- Duplicate before editing deeplyA template can open in preview mode. Once the direction is right, duplicate it into your workspace so it becomes an editable project.
- Edit scene by sceneUse prompts, inspector controls, uploaded media, and saved snapshots in short passes. Avoid changing copy, layout, color, and timing all at once.
- Export only after a full reviewWatch the piece from start to finish, check text legibility, then export in the format and quality that actually matches the destination.
FAQ
Short answers to the questions that usually block first-time users.
Why does a template open but still feel read-only?
Because the first open can be a template preview. When you decide the template is the right base, duplicate it into your workspace so it becomes an editable project.
Where do my uploaded fonts show up?
Upload them on the Fonts page for the current workspace. After that, supported editor controls can surface those fonts in the inspector font picker.
Why is MOV or 4K unavailable for me?
Those options are plan-gated in the export dialog. If the control is locked, the current account tier does not include that export option.
Should I use prompts or manual controls for revisions?
Use prompts for directional changes and manual controls for exact values. If you know the precise copy, font, color, duration, or media asset you want, the inspector is usually faster and safer.
Can I invite teammates to every workspace?
No. Team management belongs to team workspaces. Personal workspaces do not support the same invite flow.
